The Australian Brain Cancer Foundation (ABCF) is Canberra's first and only organisation dedicated to improving outcomes for children, adults, and families affected by brain cancer. Established to address a critical gap in local support, ABCF delivers a wrap-around care model that connects patients, clinicians, hospitals, and researchers across the ACT.

Our mission is to ensure every person diagnosed with brain cancer in Canberra can access world-class care close to home. We fund local research at ANU, invest in advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment at Canberra Hospital, and provide practical and emotional support for families navigating treatment. Every dollar raised in Canberra stays in Canberra. This ensures our community can attract leading medical talent, protect vital biobanking samples, and build long-term capability within the ACT health system.

ABCF is entirely community-driven and committed to transparency, impact, and meaningful change. Our vision is to transform the brain cancer experience in the ACT by improving outcomes, strengthening local services, and ensuring no family ever walks this journey alone.
